A new tragedy has gone back to leave in hardship to the world of the international football, after it have known that at least nine people have died when dumping a ship that transported to a team of football of Uganda and to some of his fans.
The local means have informed that the accident has produced in the lake Alberto, in the west of Uganda, and that for the moment so only has been able to rescue to 15 people with life, of the 45 that travelled in the ship. In this sense, 9 people already have died and the rest, 21, find still missing, as it has informed the "Daily Monitor".
"Up to now, we can confirm that of the 45 people that were on board, 15 people survived", has determined the media in question. The team of football proceeded of the aldea of Kaweibanda and travelled to participate in a friendly party in Hoima.
The sobrepeso and the celebration, causes of the accident
The police, as well as some witnesses, have confirmed that the sinking has because of the sobrepeso and to the bustled movement in the interior of the ship, since several of the people found in state of drunkenness
"They overloaded the ship. Witnesses have said to the police that the majority of the passengers -intoxicated- seated in a side of the ship, what produced a loss of balance", has explained the police, that is receiving help of fishermen to try rescue what before the bodies, with or without life, of the 30 remaining passengers.
