FC Barcelona extended another incredible offensive streak in LaLiga EA Sports with their 3-1 victory over Alavés. For the 34th consecutive matchday, Hansi Flick's team managed to score at least one goal against their opponent, something they have achieved without fail since matchday 18 of the previous season.

The last time Barça failed to score in La Liga was in the 0-1 defeat against Leganés at Montjuïc on matchday 17. That loss occurred on December 15, 2024, and, including the defeat on Wednesday against Chelsea in the Champions League (3-0), it was one of the only three goalless games for the Blaugrana in the Flick era

Flick's Barça Has Only Failed to Score Twice in LaLiga

In this regard, the Blaugrana team, since the arrival of the German coach on the bench, has only failed to score in the League **twice in 52 matchdays** played between August 2024 and November 2025. In addition to Leganés, Real Sociedad (1-0) was the other team capable of leaving the Catalans scoreless last season.

Almost a year has passed since the defeat by the same score against Leganés (349 days) and 34 matches in which the team has scored 91 goals and conceded only 35. The balance in that period is 27 wins, 3 draws, and 4 losses in 54 matchdays where Barça has led the league for most of the time.

Barcelona's best run of consecutive league matches scoring is 63 games, achieved between February 2012 and October 2013. A total of four managers took charge of the club during that period, one of them on an interim basis. The streak began in the final stretch of Pep Guardiola's tenure and continued in the 2012/13 season, with Tito Vilanova and Jordi Roura at the helm.

The run ended after the first two months of the 2013/14 season, with Gerardo 'Tata' Martino now the Barcelona manager. Then, between February 2018 and February 2019, Ernesto Valverde's Barça scored in 37 consecutive league matches.

The 34-game scoring streak achieved by Hansi Flick was also matched by Guardiola between September 2010 and May 2011. The Santpedor native scored in 35 matches in his first season, from September 2008 to May 2009, a streak that Barça can equal next Tuesday against Atlético.

Juan José Nogués, meanwhile, boasts the third-longest scoring streak for Barça in La Liga. The Aragonese coach led Barça to 36 consecutive matches with a goal between November 1942 and February 1944. This week, after hosting Atlético, the Catalans will visit Betis on Saturday the 6th (6:30 PM CEST).
