FC Barcelona added their fifth victory in LaLiga 25/26 and the third consecutive as a visitor against Real Oviedo (1-3). The team led by Hansi Flick, once again, came back in the second half of a match that became more complicated than expected after a mistake by Joan García in the first half.

The Catalan goalkeeper came out of his area to cut off a long pass that was looking for the forward Salomón Rondón, but after anticipating efficiently, he failed a pass to Marc Casadó, which, finally, was taken advantage of by Alberto Reina to open the scoring in the 33rd minute.

In the post-match press conference, Flick defended García, although he made it clear that the '13' clearly made a technical error, but understandable due to the Barça philosophy. Any other goalkeeper would have cleared the ball long, but García wanted to maintain possession and start a safe exit for Barça.

Flick explains Joan García's mistake and rules out an injury with Raphinha

"It's our style and something like that can happen. In the end, he's a fantastic goalkeeper and he showed it at the end. A mistake... this is football," explained the Barça coach. Barça recovered from the initial disadvantage and, as against Levante, scored three goals in the second half to turn the result around.

On the other hand, Flick revealed his reasons for taking off Raphinha in the 65th minute. The Brazilian left his place on the field quite angry to Robert Lewandowski, a key move to complete the comeback. The '9', five minutes later, made it 1-2.

"He's fine. He felt something in his leg and that's why we changed him," he said regarding the '11' culé. And, about 'Lewy', he added: "He has been important. This is what we want from him. Inside the area he is one of the best in the world."

The entry of Robert, along with that of Frenkie de Jong (at halftime for Marc Casadó), gave Barça more freshness when it came to looking for the tie first and, later, the comeback. In that sense, Flick valued the team's response and the depth of the squad.

"In the end we also had several options in the first half, but we didn't score. The changes came at the right time and I'm happy for the three points."

Praise for Ronald Araujo and goodbye to 'Laminendependencia'

Similarly, Hansi Flick expressed his satisfaction with Ronald Araujo's good match. In his return to the XI, the captain participated in two of the three azulgrana goals, closing the result with a beautiful header.

"It is important that Araujo has scored and has also defended very well. Last year Iñigo and Pau played a lot together. We have made different lines, but I think they are responding well. We have top players in defense and being able to choose is good," the Barcelona coach pointed out regarding his changes in the center of the defense.

Finally, the culé coach confirmed the sensations produced by a new victory, the third in a row, without Lamine Yamal available. "It's good. We have made the right decisions. The injured will be returning. We have a fantastic team when everyone is ready to play."

"We have had more control of the match; we tried to create chances and we have done very well."
