Barça Celebrated Their Return to Spotify Camp Nou in Style

Ferran Torres' goal before halftime

On Saturday, Barça had temporarily regained the lead thanks to a thrashing against Athletic Club (4-0). On their return to the Spotify Camp Nou, the Catalans scored at strategic moments, before and at the end of each half to reach 31 points, one less than Real Madrid.

909 days after the last match at Camp Nou, Barça resolved the game with goals from Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres (brace), and Fermín López. Lamine Yamal, for his part, provided two assists at the end of the first and second halves, both capitalized by the 'Shark'.

Barça's victory corresponded with the formality of the match. Athletic was dominated from start to finish and, in 4 minutes, was already losing with a goal from **Lewandowski** after a good finish from the '9' and an error in the Basques' exit. **Ferran**, just before halftime, took advantage of an assist from **Lamine** with the outside of his left foot to beat Unai Simón in a one-on-one.

Fermín, in the 49th minute, scored the third goal, taking advantage of another error in the visitors' exit and an excellent through ball from Eric García. Then, in the 90th minute, Lamine orchestrated a great play in midfield, leaving four rivals behind before making a pass that again left Ferran alone against Simón. VAR validated the '7's' position, who now takes sole leadership of the team with 9 goals.
