This Monday has brought important news for the Spanish competitions of the course 2019-20, announced after the General Assembly of the Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF). The organism that governs the national football has done official the novelties in the format and calendar of LaLiga, the Glass of Rey and the Supercopa of Spain, but foresees a clash that could suppose an obstacle to half-long term.
LaLiga, like entity representative of the clubs and through his president Javier Thebes, will impugn the agreements reached by the RFEF, as it affirms the information revealed by 'The Partidazo of COPE' and advanced by the leader several weeks backwards, when they began to filter the details of the planned modifications for the three championships.
Several means ensure that the clubs showed his rejection to the new formats in the Assembly of LaLiga, and that's why it will elaborate a formal claim that will elevate to upper instances and that will include also the calendar of the three tournaments, that has adjusted to give fit to the new distribution of parties in the corresponding months to the new season.
As it affirms the newspaper 'Mark', on the calendar will have to decide the Upper Council of Sports (CSD), that in the past already mediated between both parts and decanted by the proposal of the Federation. Instead, the perspectives are worse regarding the formats of Glass and Supercopa, whose demand could go by judicial road. The Ordinary Justice has terms a lot greater, and indicates that of not obtaining the cautelar that brake the process of renewal promoted by the RFEF, would be difficult that the reply arrived to time and before the start of both competitions.
