It was a secret to voices announced previously, but finally the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) with Luis Rubiales in command has communicated to LaLiga with a letter to his president, Javier Thebes, that does not authorise the party of League planned so that in January confronted Girona and FC Barcelona in Miami. Also it has commanded to the FIFA another letter with the reasons of the veto.

The RFEF asks in his letter documentation that testifique "the agreement signed by this last entity to contest parties in United States, of the that desconocen fundamental appearances like the obligations assumed and if it exists the consent of the United States, of the that desconocen fundamental appearances like the obligations assumed and if it exists the consent of the actors and clubs involved in the competition".

Besides, the RFEF clears that it has consulted to the FIFA and to the UEFA about "the possible implications that could have the decision to authorise this party on the integrity and sportive general principles, in addition to possible disequilibriums that could create in other territories and if it is in accordance with the strategic lines of these maximum sportive organisms international".

On the other hand, the RFEF demands in his letter "clear the juridical and contractual frame of this agreement, the obligations assumed and the rights of each one of the entities affected by the party, if they exist complementary income for the clubs and if these suppose a deal of economic favour in front of the other".

In the letter, the federation ensures that it does not know the "organs that have authorised this party, so much of the League as of the clubs" and also doubts of if it has arrived to an agreement with all the clubs, desconociendo "the unanimity of the rest of the clubs to do it, and if it has of the compliance of the players".

Finally, the the letter of the RFEF to LaLiga does reference to sportive reasons in an alike argument to the that used Julen Lopetegui, technician of the Real Madrid: "The modification of the place of the meeting could affect so much to the rights of the credited as to the audiovisual rights.
