The next 20 June will begin a new edition of the Glass America that will contest in United States, and will implement a modification in the regulation. The Conmebol confirmed the past Tuesday that there will be a change in the regulation like part of the proofs that is used to to make the FIFA in short tournaments for later be implemented in the other competitions of the world.
The Direction of Competitions and Operations of the Conmebol announced that, in addition to the five changes by team authorised by the regulation, will allow a potential sixth change to take care the health of the footballers. This additional change will be able to make in cases of suspicion of traumatic brain injury and cerebral shock, for which will have to inform to the main referee or to the fourth referee and will use a card of pink colour.
On the other hand, once that a team have used all the opportunities of regular replacement, will not be able to effect a replacement by cerebral shock to do a regular replacement. This means that if already they have effected the five changes, will not be possible to make a sixth change under this circumstance. Besides, if a team makes a replacement by the same problem, the contrary team will have automatically the possibility to make an additional replacement, even if it does not have a player with said diagnostic.
The Glass America will be the 'conejillo of Indian'
The possibility began to see in the competitions from the World-wide of Qatar 2022, and continued implementing, especially, in tournaments organised by the FIFA. However, the confusion that caused the fact that it arose an extra modification without the pertinent explanation to the viewers in the stadium, did that it gave step to the design of a protocol.
