The newspaper 'The World', through a format called 'Barça Leaks', filtered this Tuesday the requirements that Lionel Messi asked to the FC Barcelona to renew his agreement at the end of the season 2020/21. To this has added him a second episode this Wednesday, when the same newspaper desveló the 142 million gross euros that converted Gerard Hammered in the better head office paid of the world in 2018.
Nevertheless, the subject that more calls the attention is the fault of character of the Managerial Board of Josep Maria Bartomeu with the footballer, since while it signed the most yielding agreement of his career was working in a documentary for 'Movistar' on the signing of Antoine Griezmann. A production that, according to an internal report, would be a "very grave damage to the club".
This feature film titled 'The decision' was elaborated through his company 'Kosmos' and focused in the negotiations between the Barça and the Athletic of Madrid for fichar to the 'Principito'. In him it remained in evidence how the mediapunta wanted to continue in Madrid, but further of this, remained portrayed the Barcelona executives when negotiating by a footballer with agreement in force. All while I Hammered benefited in parallel.
With all this on the table, Bartomeu sent a report to the Legal advice of the Club to impose him to the defender a sanction of 25% of his wage of a month under the charges to "place in front his interests to the ones of the club", "be missing the respect to the institution" and "create a conflict of interests". The fine in himself oscillated the 300.000 euros and was totally based by incumplimiento of two clauses in his agreement, although the true is that it never arrived to do effective due to the fact that a second report left all adrift.
There were not consequences
The second document alleged that it was not careful to sanction him because of "the high pressure mediática" and to the vicinity of an electoral process, by what in spite of the anger of the directors, especially of Bartomeu, the Ethical Commission take the decision of not acting against Hammered without mattering that it acted against of the club and that had a disrespectful behaviour with the executives of the entity.
It is important to stand out that all these informations come from of the leak of documents that were in the computers requisitioned during the process of investigation of the 'Barçagate', that still are under key and that has been 'The World' the one who has had access to them.
