FC Barcelona has issued a statement addressed to all its fans to inform about important news related to the retransmission of the remaining commitments of the 2025/26 Asian preseason tour. The informative note, released by the Blaugrana team, states that, due to all the inconveniences presented with the way in which it was initially planned to transmit the commitments of the Blaugrana Tour Asia Edition 2025 by Philips Ambilight, the matches will be broadcast live through YouTube.
From now on, all the 'culé' fans will be able to watch live both the match against FC Seoul (07/31 - 13:00 Spanish time) and the one that will be played against Daegu FC (08/04 - 13:00 Spanish time), completely free of charge. Simply access to the official YouTube channel of FC Barcelona.
Payment is eliminated to follow Barcelona's adventure in Asia
Contrary to what was initially intended, when the club only offered two payment alternatives to the 'culés', —unless they were members— now no type of subscription will be necessary. These were the proposed options:
- 📌Culers Premium: €39.99 per year
- 📌YouTube Membership (Pre Season Pack): €9.99 per month
Barça explains the reasons for the change in the retransmission of its Asian tour
Now, the reasons for this change of opinion of the 'culé' team to dispense with these alternatives are due to the fact that, as reported in its statement, despite having contracted an external service to offer the matches of the 2025/26 Asian tour with full guarantee of reception, this became difficult due to various unforeseen events. Most of them, as it was announced at the time, were related to the irruption of several pages that tried to capture the live signal of the match.
A question that activated the pertinent defense mechanisms in this type of occasions, generating notable access inconveniences to the platform. Likewise, it did not allow the game to be viewed correctly by those who had already managed to enter legally.
The next duels of the Blaugrana club in Asia will be free to avoid new failures
Faced with this, FC Barcelona acknowledged that "it does not want to assume any more risk for our fans in the future and, for this reason, it will offer the two remaining matches open and without any payment by users".
Finally, the Catalan team specified its statement offering the pertinent apologies for "a service that has not been offered with the standards required by the Entity". Also, as we recently reported in FCBN, it stated that "it will proceed shortly to compensate the affected fans who could not see the match in a timely manner".
