Hansi Flick defined the list of FC Barcelona players called up for the 2025/26 preseason tour of Asia, with 30 names confirmed

Calendar of FC Barcelona

It is now official. FC Barcelona has announced the list that will finally include 30 players called up by Hansi Flick for the 2025/26 preseason tour of Asia, in which the Barça team will play a total of three matches against:

  1. Vissel Kobe: Sunday, July 27. 12:00 PM (Spanish time).
  2. FC Seoul: Thursday, July 31. 1:00 PM (Spanish time).
  3. Daegu: Monday, August 4. 1:00 PM (Spanish time).

It should not be overlooked that the start of this tour of Asia was surrounded by great controversy. It was at risk after the planning was disrupted —due to the trip not taking place on Wednesday as planned due to a contractual breach—, it was finally resolved thanks to the intervention of Rakuten and the disbursement of the remaining €5M that Grupo Yasuda had to contribute, thus completing the €15M that the club expects to receive for this tour.

🧤 GOALKEEPERS:

  1. (#). Joan García
  2. (#13). Iñaki Peña
  3. (#25). Wojciech Szczęsny
  4. (#) Kochen

A notable absence is that of Marc-André ter Stegen, who was left out of the squad as he had to undergo surgery to correct back discomfort. In turn, Diego Kochen is also not on the list, as he is working under the orders of Juliano Belletti in Barça Atlètic.

🛡️ DEFENDERS:

CENTRAL DEFENDERS:

  1. (#2). Pau Cubarsí
  2. (#4). Ronald Araujo
  3. (#5). Iñigo Martínez
  4. (#15). Andreas Christensen
  5. (#22). Eric García

FULL-BACKS:

  1. (#3). Alejandro Balde
  2. (#23). Jules Koundé
  3. (#32). Héctor Fort
  4. (#35). Gerard Martín
  5. (#). Jofre Torrents

In this section, one of the most striking additions is the youth player and one of the great surprises of the preseason, Jofre Torrents, called to compete as a left-back. Likewise, the questioned Andreas Christensen appears on the list, one of the players who remains in the spotlight for a possible transfer in this summer market, given the obvious defensive overbooking.

🧠 MIDFIELDERS:

  1. (#06). Gavi
  2. (#08). Pedri González
  3. (#16). Fermín López
  4. (#17). Marc Casadó
  5. (#20). Dani Olmo
  6. (#21). Frenkie de Jong
  7. (#28). Marc Bernal
  8. (#42). Guillermo
  9. (#). Pedro - Dro

Here, Pedro Fernández, Dro, a '10'/left winger, is one of the most prominent call-ups for the preseason. One of those elements that managed to captivate Hansi Flick in these weeks of training.

⚔️ FORWARDS

  1. (#7). Ferran Torres
  2. (#9). Robert Lewandowski
  3. (#10). Lamine Yamal
  4. (#11). Raphinha
  5. (#14). Marcus Rashford
  6. (#). Roony Bardghji
  7. (#). A. Fernández

At the forward level, FC Barcelona is taking two of its star signings so far in the 2025/26 summer market. Marcus Rashford, who already had his first training session, is one of the main focuses of attention, on whom many expectations rest for everything he is known to be capable of contributing.

Likewise, beyond the usual names, the addition of Roony Bardghji shines, a newly acquired player with a subsidiary team card, but who has left very good feelings in training, demonstrating his quality as a top right winger project.
