FC Barcelona jumped onto the Seoul World Cup Stadium in 'steamroller' mode. Hansi Flick's team scored a couple of goals in the opening quarter of an hour against FC Seoul, both with direct participation from Lamine Yamal. In his second game with the number '10' on his back, the player from Mataró regained his lethality in the rival area.

The winger started the match on fire, provoking a penalty not called by the main referee in the 5th minute. Lamine was held and knocked down inside the area by a rival defender, but the referee waved play on.

Three minutes later, in the 8th minute, Dani Olmo led a lethal counter-attack for Barça, threading a pass to the right that Yamal finished with a tight shot low down. The ball hit the base of the post, but the rebound fell to Robert Lewandowski and the Pole, with an empty goal, only had to push the ball into the net.

Lamine Yamal scores his firsts great goals as Barça's '10'

With FC Seoul against the ropes, Flick's team continued to do damage thanks to the verticality of their play. In the 15th minute, the player from Rocanfonda recovered a ball on the right, faced up and wanted to thread a backheel pass to Olmo, but the rebound off a rival returned the ball to him.

Without wasting time, taking advantage of the space, Lamine unleashed a low left-footed shot from the edge of the area, impossible for goalkeeper Hyeon-mu. Once again, the winger shows off his lethal strike with his left leg, this time with a placed shot that surprised the entire Korean defense in full retreat.

In addition to being his first goal with Barça's '10', it is also Yamal's first goal in preseason with the Azulgrana team. In 2024, he did not travel with the team to the United States due to his post-Euro Cup vacation. In 2023, he only played 10 minutes in the friendly against Arsenal (5-3).

Just before halftime, Seoul had equalized with a goal from Yazal Al-Alrab in the 45th minute, after Dani had missed a clear chance. The player from Terrassa, however, added another assist before the break, thanks to another spectacular finish from the Barça number 10.

In the 45th minute, Lamine received the ball into the box, dribbled past two opponents, then curled his left foot, unleashing a shot that Hyeon-mu blasted past. Barça then went into the break with a lead that should have been much larger.

Barça's goalscoring debut with the 'Black Mamba' shirt

Another highlight of the friendly in Seoul was the debut of Barcelona's second shirt for 25/26, the kit belonging to the 'Black Mamba' line. The Nike brand has taken the opportunity to design a kit belonging to the collection dedicated to the basketball legend Kobe Bryant, which has details in purple and black, two of the classic colors of the Los Angeles Lakers.

In their first game wearing this shirt, Hansi Flick's team scored a couple of goals in just 15 minutes, both with direct participation from the 'LRL'. Of the three Culé forwards, the only one who was off in the first half was Raphinha. The Brazilian participated very little as a left winger, as Olmo and Lamine turned the attacks towards the '10' side.
