The communiqué of the Benfica doing officials the figures of the traspaso of Nélson Semedo to the FC Barcelona has brought an unpleasant surprise for the Barcelona group, that could have remained in bad place after the publication of his negotiations. As they have made public the lisboetas in this communiqué, the total of the operation would not consist in 30 fixed millions more 5 variables, but these five would be cumulative in the five years of the agreement of the player and in which firm in his next renewal.
That is to say, the Barça pays in principle 30.569.728 euros, and 5.094.955 more in variables every time that the player reach 50 parties during "the period of the current sportive agreement and of the eventual first renewal of said agreement".
Like this, if the player contests a determinate number of minutes and accumulates 50 clashes in each one of the five seasons that has signed, the final cost of the operation would be of 55 millions before a possible renewal, in which the account would follow increasing of the same way.
An interpretation complicated
Although the seasons of the Barça usually have more than 50 parties, is difficult that a player contest them all if we abide by us possible injuries, sanctions or rests. In spite of everything, is possible.
Even so, as it informs the 'Sportive World', the intention of the Barça is that the footballer remain in some 40 duels by campaign and that renew twice in five years, avoiding so it continue the application of said bonus and that the variable reach only 10 million euros, leaving the definite price in some 40 'kilos' that would confirm to the player like an affordable operation.
