The Andalusian extreme of the Manchester City, Nolito, has explained in an interview conceded to "The Sun" the reasons that carried him to fichar by the group "citizen" instead of by the FC Barcelona this past summer. The Barça finish decanting by other options in the market of signings, after both parts had been near to arrive to an agreement.
"It was near of fichar by the Barcelona, but at the end decided to go to the Manchester City", has revealed Nolito in an interview conceded to "The Sun", in which it ensures that "it was the best decision for me and for my family, and am happy to play for the Manchester City".

One of the first people that convinced him for fichar by the Manchester City was David Silva. "I spoke with David Silva. It spoke well of the city. It carried me two days to take the decision", signals, giving also big importance to the fact that Pep Guardiola was the trainer of the English group.
"I came to the Premier League to play with the City and with Pep Guardiola, that carried me to the first team", recalca, although it feels proud also of the interest that had in his signing the FC Barcelona. "I am very proud of the interest of Barcelona, but now am here, think that took the best decision".
The third reason that carried him to the Manchester City and no to the FC Barcelona, besides, went the opportunity to be able to have of more minutes in the Etihad Stadium that in the Camp Nou. "I have had the luck to play with Messi, but what want in the life is to play and enjoy of my football". In the Barça, instead, would have been the fourth forward that now is Paco Alcácer, a footballer that has not finished to adapt to the discipline culé.
