Juventus has a real 'problem' to solve with Dusan Vlahovic. The 25-year-old striker enters his last year of contract this summer and the 'bianconeri' coach, Igor Tudor, is not counting on him for next season. Instead, the Croatian coach prioritizes the signing of Jonathan David, in addition to the permanence of Randal Kolo Muani (he played on loan in the second half of the previous season).

Although David would arrive at 'zero cost' and Kolo Muani is also aiming to return on loan, the 'Vecchia signora' prioritizes the transfer of the Serbian '9'. First, because the club needs to recover at least part of the 70 million it paid for him to Fiorentina in 2022. Including the variables, the transfer in fact already exceeds 80 'kilos'.

In addition, Vlahovic currently receives the highest salary in the squad (around €12M net per year). The board has tried, unsuccessfully so far, to renew him to lower his emoluments, while a sale even for an amount less than his current market value (€35M) has not been possible due to his very high salary.

How much does Juventus expect to earn from the sale of Dusan Vlahovic?

In that sense, Juventus does not rule out, practically, 'giving away' Dusan for a price close to 30 million euros. The '9' scored 17 goals and 4 assists in 44 games last season, but his irregularity and character do not fit into Igor Tudor's plans.

Similarly, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Vlahovic does not see his transfer this summer as feasible either, as his goal is to leave in 2026 with a letter of freedom in order to receive a signing bonus.

So far in the Club World Cup, the Serbian was a substitute against Al Ain (he played 21 minutes in the 5-0 thrashing) and Wydad (he made a penalty in 19 minutes to close the 4-1). Against Manchester City he was in the XI and scored the discount in the 2-5 defeat.

Barça does not have Dusan Vlahovic on its radar

Although Juventus would give facilities to FC Barcelona to enter the bid for Dusan Vlahovic, the Azulgrana team does not plan to sign another center forward this summer. Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres will cover the position in 25/26. In addition, the board cannot afford to incorporate a player with such a high salary.

The Serbian, yes, is a striker respected by the Azulgrana team. The Belgrade native has scored 107 goals in 253 Serie A matches with Juventus and Fiorentina, but his last season in Turin has significantly reduced the interest of the giants of Europe in his signing.

At the moment, Fenerbahce is one of the few teams that has expressed to Juve its interest in the '9'. Outside of Europe, Arabia is also an option, but the striker does not want to leave the elite with just 25 years.
