FC Barcelona is finding it increasingly difficult to sign Luis Díaz in this summer market. And yes, beyond the fact that the Colombian is willing to leave the Red team, his new destination seems more directed towards Germany, specifically, Bayern Munich.

Luis Díaz has already shown interest in signing for Bayern

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany, the Die Roten is currently the best-positioned team to acquire the services of Lucho in this summer window. Even the player from Barrancas has made it clear to Liverpool that he would like to join the Bavarian team if the option opens up and the offer is convincing enough.

Likewise, it is said that, although there is still no agreement between Luis Díaz and Bayern Munich, personal conditions would not be a problem. The possibility of signing a contract, at least, until 2029 is in the air.

Liverpool remains inflexible: rejected an offer of €67.5M

However, Bayern Munich still needs to negotiate with Liverpool the transfer of the 28-year-old forward, this being the most complicated part of the operation. It is worth remembering that, in the past, it was reported that the Bavarian team had already made an offer to the scousers for the former Porto player, trying to sign him for the price of €67.5M, a proposal that would have been immediately rejected by an English team that has valued the forward at an astronomical price.

However, the Munich team continues to push to try to acquire the services of Luis Díaz, counting, as mentioned before, with the approval of the Colombian forward. Although he does not seem reluctant to join Barcelona —a team that his own father pointed out at the time as a "dream to fulfill"—, currently the culé club is tied hands to launch an offensive in conditions for the left winger, due to the limited room for maneuver it has regarding the registration of players due to financial fair play and the 1:1 rule.

Can Barcelona react in time if its situation with fair play improves?

Even so, in case Barça manages to enter the 1:1 rule in time, it would still remain to be seen if it manages to agree in a timely manner the terms of a negotiation with Liverpool, which seems closed to letting Lucho leave this summer. Although some rumors suggest that the Reds could be looking for another forward to reinforce their squad, in which case their position could soften. The question is: Will they make the Colombian's exit price more flexible?

It is not clear. What does seem more evident is that Barcelona, although it does not rule out the option of Luis Díaz, is starting to see it as increasingly distant, so it is already considering other alternatives in the transfer market for this summer.
