FC Barcelona made official this Friday (July 25) the transfer of Pau Víctor to Sporting de Braga. In this regard, the player, after leaving the Blaugrana team, dedicated some words full of emotion and gratitude to the Catalan institution.
It should be noted that the striker played the 2023/24 season with Barça Atlètic on loan, accumulating 39 games (3,491 minutes). His performance was remarkable: he scored 20 goals and provided 6 assists, figures that did not go unnoticed by the club's sports management.
In this way, as a consequence, the Blaugrana team decided to execute the 3 million euro release clause to disassociate him from Girona and, at the time, incorporate him definitively until 2029.
However, a season later the reality ended up being different, but the player was proud of his time as a culé in a publication on Instagram.
"Today ends a stage that has marked my life. A stage that has been much more than football: it has been a dream come true", initially pointed out the former Barça 18. After this, the striker took the opportunity to remember his time with the Blaugrana subsidiary and later his arrival to the first team, highlighting that he was "a child who grew up dreaming of wearing this shirt."

In this sense, the native of Sant Cugat highlighted that Barcelona is not only a football club, but a feeling that makes every person who is part of it better.
Likewise, he took the opportunity to thank all the people who were part of his time in the Barcelona team, pointing out the human and personal legacy that the period as a player of the club leaves him.
"Thank you to all the coaches, teammates, club workers and fans who have accompanied me on this path. I take with me friendships, values, learnings and memories that I will bring with me forever," he said.
In addition, he pointed out that he will face a new challenge with the same passion that has always characterized him after defending the colors of the Blaugrana shirt.
The striker left Barcelona after winning LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup during the 2024/25 season. A domestic treble that meant the return to the scene of the Catalan team to the top of European football.
Agreement for 12 M€ without complications between Barça and Sporting de Braga for Pau Víctor
In this order of ideas, the negotiations between Barça and the Portuguese team were carried out without major setbacks, especially because the Blaugrana board pointed out that to let the attacker leave they would only accept a minimum of 10 million euros.
However, thanks to the intervention of agent Jorge Mendes, Sporting closed the incorporation of Pau Víctor for a fixed figure of 12 'kilos'. The agreement also contemplates up to 3 million additional in terms of variables, conditioned to the fulfillment of objectives previously established between both parties.
