FC Barcelona is not changing its market plan after the unexpected outcome of the 'Nico Williams operation'. Beyond the disappointment of reopening the Basque forward's file, the board is resuming its initial roadmap: Barça will sign a left winger and the most viable options are Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford.

For Hansi Flick, both players are very valuable due to their versatility. Both the Colombian and the Englishman can play on the wing, as an attacking midfielder or even as a '9'. However, the Manchester United forward can also replace Lamine Yamal on the right, while the '7' of Liverpool has no experience playing on the opposite side.

Financially, Rashford's arrival may be easier to resolve. Although the Manchester player earns 20 million net per year (a salary impossible for the Catalans to assume), his signing can be resolved through a loan. In the case of a transfer, the figure would be around 40 'kilos'.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are asking for around 80 million for 'Lucho', an unattainable amount for Barça at the moment. The 'Guajiro's' salary, however, is much more affordable, but the club does not plan to spend more than 65 'kilos' on this operation. In terms of age there is not much difference (the Colombian is one year older), although Díaz's present at club and national team level is better.
