Barça Women lands in Mexico! Everything you need to know about their tour

FC Barcelona Women will have a series of matches in Mexico between August 22 and 25 that are part of the 'Barça on Tour 2025' tour. It will be the third consecutive year that Pere Romeu's team has held its preseason in Mexican territory.

The first game of the tour will be played in Monterrey on August 22 against a combination of the best players from the Liga BBVA MX Femenil at the UANL stadium, with a capacity of 42,000 spectators. The match time will be 20:30 in Mexico (4:30 on August 23 in Spain).

The other match will be on August 24 at the Ciudad de los Deportes stadium in Mexico City when they visit América Femenil at 12:00 local time (20:00 in Barcelona).

A tour with several reunions for Barça Women

The Liga BBVA MX Femenil has become an attractive destination for players from Europe. This is the case of goalkeeper Sandra Paños, who arrived last year at América Femenil after being in the Catalan team since 2015.

On the other hand, there is also Bruna Vilamala, who is Paños' teammate in the 'Águilas'. Vilamala arrived this summer transferred from Barça. The forward will meet her colleagues again.

Barça Women are going for a new treble in 2026

Barça Women is the top winner of the Spanish women's first division with 10 titles. The Blaugrana club has won six consecutive leagues and is on track to continue the winning streak. At the European level, the Azulgranas have reached the last five Champions League finals, winning 3 of them (20/21, 22/23 and 23/24).

Pere Romeu's team hopes to reach a good competitive pace to face this new season, where they hope to defend the league title and the Copa de la Reina, in addition to taking revenge for the final lost against Arsenal for the Champions League on May 24.

Once the tour of Mexico is over, the Culés are preparing for their debut in LaLiga Liga F Moeve 25/26 when they host Alhama at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on August 30.
