The Barça Women's Team has already made official where it will play the 2025/26 pre-season tour. Pere Romeu's team, as they did in the 2023/24 season, will visit Mexico to play, between August 19 and 25, a couple of friendly matches within the framework of the stage called Barça On Tour.

Rivals and dates of the Barça Women's Team on their tour of Mexico

The current champions of the Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Spanish Super Cup will face two rivals during their stay in Mexican lands. The first of these matches will take place in Monterrey, in the fiefdom of Tigres UANL, on August 22 at 20:30 local time (04:30 h on August 23 in Catalonia), against a selection of Stars from the Liga BBVA MX Femenil.

The team led from the technical direction by Pedro Martínez, coach of Tigres UANL Femenil, will have star players such as Amandine Henry, Charlyn Corral and Stephanie Ribeiro.

Two days later, on August 24 at 12:00 local time (20:00 h in Catalonia), the 'culés' will face Club América Femenil at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium, in Mexico City. Two former 'azulgranas' play in their ranks: Sandra Paños and Bruna Vilamala, who could have minutes against their former teammates.

In addition to these sporting commitments, the tour —organized as on previous occasions by Soccer Media Solutions— will include a series of institutional and promotional activities of the Barça Women's Team in Mexico, with dates and places yet to be confirmed.

The recent history of the Barça Women's Team in Mexico

In 2023 they faced Club América (0-2) at the Azteca Stadium, in front of 34,931 spectators, and Tigres UANL (0-1) at El Volcán. In 2024, in June, to close the poker season, they visited Chivas at the Akron Stadium and won 1-4. Will the 'azulgrana' team continue with its positive record in Mexico? It will be seen soon.
