Historic upset by Bodo/Glimt against City and a no-holds-barred fight to enter the TOP-8
Real Madrid reached 15 points, the same as Bayern and with an identical goal difference (+11), but one more goal scored (19). The big surprise of the day was, without a doubt, Manchester City's defeat in Norway against Bodo/Glimt (3-1). Pep Guardiola's team was surprised with **two goals from Kasper Hogh** in the first 20 minutes.
At the start of the second half, Jens Hauge scored the third and, after Rodri's expulsion in the 62nd minute, City threw in the towel, although Rayan Cherki had pulled one back just two minutes earlier. On Tuesday, there was also a rout by Club Brugge against Kairat (1-4) and a home defeat for Villarreal against Ajax (1-2).
Sporting CP, for their part, also caused a surprise by defeating the reigning champions, Paris Saint-Germain, in Lisbon (2-1). A brace from Colombian Luis Suárez made the difference for the Portuguese side, while Kvaratskhelia had scored the equalizer for Paris. Luis Enrique's team is now fifth with 13 points, one less than Tottenham (4th).
The 'Spurs' delivered at home against Dortmund (2-0) and complete the TOP-9 alongside Sporting, Manchester City, and Atalanta, these three also tied with 13 points. Inter, after falling at home to Arsenal, dropped to 9th place with 12 units
