The FC Barcelona already knows to his three rivals for the phase of groups of the Champions League, as well as they have done it the others 31 teams classified for this new edition of the tournament, which will give start the next 19 and 20 September
This Thursday carried out in Monaco the draw of a new edition of the UEFA Champions League, which besides will be the last edition with the current format and with 32 classified teams. For the following course the maximum organism of the European football has decided a phase of groups longer and besides will add 4 clubs more for this first round, adding a total of 36.
Already with regard to the current season, the draw left all smart so that it begin the tournament of clubs more important of the world and will begin the Tuesday 19 September with the phase of groups and will conclude the Saturday 1 June 2024 with the final in the stadium of Wembley in London. This will be the eighth time (and the third from the change of name) that this stadium receives the final. The two more recent were in 2011 when the FC Barcelona defeated 3-1 to the Manchester United and the one of 2013 where the Bayern Munich won 2–1 to the Borussia Dortmund.
Regarding the dates for the six days, will be of the following way:
- Day 1: 19/20 September 2023
- Day 2: 3/4 October 2023
- Day 3: 24/25 October 2023
- Day 4: 7/8 November 2023
- Day 5: 28/29 November 2023
- Day 6: 12/13 December 2023
Already once finalised, will make the draw of the eighth of final on 18 December, whereas the one of quarter-finals and semifinals will make on 15 March 2024.
Precisely for this second round, with eliminatory of gone and turn, the dates are the following:
- Eighth of final: 13/14 - 20/21 February and 5/6 - 12/13 March 2024
- Quarter-finals: 9/10 - 16/17 April 2024
- Semifinals: 30 April - 1 May and 7-8 May 2024
- Final: 1 June 2024
