FC Barcelona already has an itinerary established for its visit to Dortmund in the framework of the duel against Borussia in the UEFA Champions League. What will it be? We tell you at FCBN

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The FC Barcelona is on the verge of playing its sixth match in the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 season. The opponent this time? Borussia Dortmund, who will open the doors of their stadium, the Signal Iduna Park, this Wednesday, December 11, to welcome the Blaugrana team. Both teams are tied on points (12), with Barça in third place and the German team in fourth, with a goal difference in favor of the Catalan side (+13 against +10).

The arrival of the Blaugrana expedition in Germany

Regarding the trip to German lands, as reported by the media outlet 'Mundo Deportivo,' Barcelona is scheduled to travel to Germany this Tuesday. The Blaugrana expedition will depart from the City of Barcelona at 11:00 a.m., taking a charter flight to Dortmund Airport.

Once the Barcelona expedition lands on German soil, as part of a trip estimated to arrive around 1:20 p.m., the next step will be to move to the Radisson Blu Hotel. This venue will serve as the accommodation center for the Blaugrana team in Germany, where they will rest for a few hours before heading to the Signal Iduna Park.

Similarly, still on this Tuesday, it is expected that at 6:15 p.m., Hansi Flick, along with a player from the Blaugrana team yet to be determined, will participate in the usual press conference before the matches. Finally, at 7:00 p.m., they will carry out the final training session at Borussia Dortmund's stadium.

Barcelona will return to the City of Barcelona on Thursday

As an interesting point, it is worth mentioning that Barcelona, in addition to spending Tuesday night at the Radisson Blu Hotel, will also spend Wednesday night at the same place, after concluding the match against Borussia Dortmund scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m. (M+ Champions League).

This decision to stay in Germany aligns with what has been shown in Hansi Flick's tenure as the Blaugrana coach, who opts not to travel on the same night after the match to rest properly after the effort in the Champions League, as was the case in trips to Monaco and Belgrade.

Additionally, it is planned that Barcelona will have a light recovery training session at Borussia Dortmund's sports city on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Following that, they will return to the City of Barcelona on a charter flight scheduled for 1:00 p.m..
