FC Barcelona approves a record budget of 1,047 million

This Sunday celebrated the Assembly of Compromisarios of the FC Barcelona​, in which it approved a record budget for the season 2019-20: 1.047 million euros, the biggest in the history of the entity. A 85 percent of the assembly approved it, in a figure that supposes an increase of a 6 percent with regard to the past campaign.

Òscar Grau, executive director and CEO of the FC Barcelona, has explained the successes of the entity to economic level. "The barrier of the 1.000 million income has surpassed a year before the foreseen according to the strategic plan", commented, puntualizando that "the turnover grows a year more until being the sportive club of the world with more income".

The vice-president of the economic area and general director executive of the FC Barcelona, Enric Tombas, did special upsetting in the speed with which the economic increase has grown since Josep Maria Bartomeu is president. It aimed that the income of the Barça have grown to a rhythm of 13% of average every year, closing the previous exercise in 990 millions.

Òscar Grau also spoke about the reduction of the cost of the club in the wages of his sportsmen, ensuring that it has diminished of the 671 to the 642 millions in a descent of the l 68% to 61%. "We could have more profits but want to follow having to the best players of the world to win the maximum number of possible titles", manifested.

Another of the subjects that has treated in the Assembly is the debt of the FC Barcelona, enciphered by Enrique Tombas in a quantity of 450 million euros. "We do not have problems of liquidity, and thus we neither have any problem of tesorería", has answered the vice-president of the economic area and general director executive after being asked after a partner.

A Barça competitive

The executive director and CEO of the FC Barcelona Óscar Grau also wanted to reassure to the partners in the sportive section, as it did Bartomeu. "We do not want to 100 million profit. As it has said Bartomeu, want the team was competitive. The partners can be calm", sentenced.
