37ª final for the King of Glasses

The FC Barcelona classified for the final of the Glass of the King after deleting to the Real Sociedad. The team directed by Tata Martino will look for this Wednesday 16 April win the 27ª Glass of the King of the history of the Club and reaffirm even more like the big dominador of this competition. The Barcelona team will play his 37ª final in the Glass of the King in front of the Real Madrid, that surpassed to the Athletic of Madrid in the another eliminatory.

The reign of the Barça in the Glass is a historical question. After classifying for the final of the tournament of the KO once again, the culés have sealed the step to whichs erá his fourth final in the last six years. The season 2008/09 were champions against the Athletic Club in Mestalla (1-4), the 2010/11 were runners-up in front of the Real Madrid in the extention (1-0) and the 2011/12 repeated triumph in front of the Basques in Vicente Calderón (3-0). In these last six years only have been missing to the appointment of the final of the Glass in the edition of 2010, when the Seville deleted them in eighth, and the past course when they fell in the semifinals against the Real Madrid.

Like this then , the Barça will see again the faces with the Madrid, two years after the last final of Glass between both groups. The balance is of six finals Barça-Madrid, with three victories for each team. The first Classical in a final of Glass was the season 1935/36 and the last the 2010/11. Curiously both played in Valencia. On 19 April it will break this equality.
