The director of institutional relations of the FC Barcelona, Guillermo Love, valued shortly after knowing the decision of the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) the fact that the final of the Glass of the King against the Seville keep the next 21 April, a date that could be a 'nuisance' for the Barça in the case that it contest the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League 2017-18.
To Guillermo Love had liked him that it changed the date of the party, but ensured that it is "satisfied by the agreement" to the that has arrived finally between all the parts involved. "For us all well, after what have spoken have stirred several things, some difficult and impossible, think that the date was the one who had all in mind, difficult to change, is on 21 April, Wanda and everything well".
The representative of the Barcelona, in this sense, remembered that it was impossible to change the date of the final of Glass of the King "by question of calendars", because of the quantity of parties that remain for playing until it finish the season, and by the imminent arrival of the World-wide of Russia 2018 when it finish the official campaign of clubs.
The Barça did not ask the Bernabéu
"It was not possible by question of calendars, a lot of parties and a lot of competitions. We are put in all the competitions and ojalá follow to the end. If you play every day in these dates is good signal", commented.
Finally, it left clear that the FC Barcelona did not ask in any moment that the final of the Glass of the King contested in Santiago Bernabéu, whereas from the Real Madrid neither offered the possibility to play it in said stadium.
