The Athletic does not delete to the Barça in Glass from 36 years ago

The FC Barcelona and the Athletic Club of Bilbao will go back to reedit all a classical in the Glass of the King in the eighth of final. The two clubs that more titles have in this competition will see the faces the next month of January with a statistical demoledora in favour of the Barça. 

Of the last nine seasons, Barcelona and rojiblancos will see the faces by sixth time. But no only this but, besides, the Athletic Club has not achieved to delete to the Catalan team in the competition copera in the last 36 years. Long that it can be a losa for the bilbaínos, although they do not forget the review that they gave them to the ones of Luis Enrique the past campaign in the Supercopa of Spain.

However, and going back to the Glass, from the final of 1984 in Santiago Bernabéu (1-0) the lions have not been able to pin him the tooth to the culés. From this duel the Barcelona entity has heaved the title in a final in front of the Athletic Club in 2009, 2012 and 2015. Also they imposed in four eliminatory ((semifinal in 1986, eighth in 1990, eighth in 2011 and chambers in 2016).

Or what is the same, ten eliminatory won for the Barça in all the history by five of the team of Vizcaya. As well as six finals for the Catalans and two for the Basques.
