Calendar of FC Barcelona

The 2025/26 Copa del Rey has already set its quarter-final knockout ties. The draw held this Monday, January 19th, at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, produced several matchups with a lot of history, including FC Barcelona's first visit to Albacete Balompié.

The Barça team will visit the Carlos Belmonte Stadium in the first knockout tie between them. Albacete comes from eliminating Real Madrid in the round of 16 (3-2) and occupies 14th place in the Liga Hypermotion (Second Division). Hansi Flick's team, for their part, overcame Racing de Santander in the previous round and retain the lead in LaLiga EA Sports.

Barça will visit Albacete on Tuesday, February 3rd at 9:00 PM, after finishing their participation in the league phase of Champions League. The other participating clubs in the top European competition, Atlético de Madrid and Athletic, will face Betis and Valencia, respectively

Full Schedule for the 2025/26 Copa del Rey

The RFEF has confirmed the dates for the next rounds of the tournament:

  • Quarter-finals: February 3-5
  • Semi-finals (first leg): February 10-11
  • Semi-finals (second leg): March 3-4
  • Final: April 25 at La Cartuja (Seville)

The Copa del Rey maintains its essence intact: modest venues, single-leg knockout ties, and the constant possibility of surprises. The quarter-final round is the last one where lower-tier clubs face Spanish Super Cup participants. Therefore, Albacete had to face Atlético, Athletic, or Barça.

For the semi-final round, there will be another draw, scheduled for Friday, February 06, right after the last quarter-final match. The final, for now, remains scheduled for April 25, but it will likely be rescheduled due to activities related to the Feria de Abril Sevilla 2026
