The King of the World Cups: Pelé's unrivaled record
Pelé 'O Rei' is a world soccer legend and his memory will be indelible. He won three World Cups and wrote his name with gold in the history of the king of sports
It said Neymar Jr in his farewell, in social networks, that "before Peeled, the football was only a sport. I peeled it changed it everything. It converted the football in art, in entertainment". A sentence that explains, of some way, what has meant the Brazilian no only for the history of the football, but for the sport. A legend whose memory will be imborrable.
It burst into in the football when it was very young and did not take in leaving his mark. No by at all it was (and it will be complicated that they surpass him or equalise) the only player of the history that won three Glasses of the World: in Sweden 1958, Chile 1962 and Mexico 1970. It did it leaving a few records on the way and, especially, putting in the peak of the world-wide football to his Brazil.
The history of Peeled in the World-wide is to be remembered. It played the first when were 17 years old, in a Glass in which almost it remains outside to consequence of an injury in the previous weeks. His 'hat-trick' of World-wide completed it in Mexico 1970, with a new brilliant performance and for the history. It dressed of leader against the champion defensoram Czechoslovakia, 'sentenced' to England and resisted in front of a hard Romania to surpass the phase of groups. In fourth and semifinals confronted to Peru (4-2) and Uruguay (3-1), respectively, to top in front of Italy in the final with a 4-1 lethal.
