A former FC Barcelona: "I do not understand my departure, I did not deserve it"

Carles Pérez aimed high in the FC Barcelona​ by the good feelings that gave in his debut with the first team but, few months after this, announced his surprising traspaso to the Rome. The Catalan, that had had prominence with Ernesto Valverde, went one of the players that was sold by the club with the aim to square the balances before the closing of the previous economic exercise.

In an interview for the agency EFE, Carles Pérez recognised to have not understood his course and considered that it did not deserve it. "For me it was a surprise that afterwards decided to do without me, consider that no deserved it to me. But neither I want to retraer at all, is something that happened does a lot of months. Now I am in the Rome, one of the best teams of Italy", said.

Besides, Carles Pérez never wanted to go out of the FC Barcelona. "From cadet have had offers to go me of the Barça, some of them of England. Afterwards I had my opportunities and think that took advantage of them as much as could. In fact, until I achieved to have an agreement like player of the first team", commented.
