André Gomes was one of the players that caused drop in the FC Barcelona the past summer. The Portuguese midfield player did not have place in the team after the signings of Arthur Melo and of Arturo Vidal and finish leaving yielded to the Everton in return of two million euros, although without option of purchase by part of the English.

In his first parties with the Everton, André Gomes has left good feelings and foresees that it can be an important player for the English group, although his contractual relation with the British group would finish the next month of June. From then, it is complicated to know what will occur with the Portuguese player, although it is happy in the Premier League.

In an interview conceded to Sky Sports, André Gomes spoke on his stage in the FC Barcelona, that was hard for him especially because it saw to suffer to his família: "My period in the Barcelona was complicated for me, because it did not feel me well. Had good moments, but in the bad was difficult because it saw to suffer to my father and to my mother".

The Portuguese midfield player admitted that it was difficult not being able to fulfil with what expected of him when it arrived to the Camp Nou. "For me, it was difficult to fulfil with the expectations, no only of the fans, but also mine. It could not see suffer to my parents. It was complicated but now am enjoying of the football again", commented the luso.

André Gomes recognised that now it feels well in the Everton and that has matured: "I can not say that I am playing my best football since I do not want to put me neither pressure neither limits. Only I want to improve physically and do the best that can. Now I seat me more like a man, mature and experienced. I am very happy to be in the Premier and in England".

The future of André Gomes

In 2019, it seems that the main mission of the FC Barcelona will be to find him team. In summer could return to the Camp Nou and from here will study options beside the Barcelona entity so that both take the way that more suit them. His paper in the Everton will be fundamental to shed light on his future. The own team 'toffee' or the Tottenham are candidates to remain to the Portuguese in property.
