Arthur Melo is the man chosen by the FC Barcelona to be the relief generacional of footballers like Xavi Hernández, that already left of the Barcelona team or of Andrés Iniesta, that could do it in the next seasons. The Barcelona team pactó an option of purchase with the Guild that would execute in July, although the player would arrive in January to the Camp Nou.
In an interview for Sportive World, confessed to be proud that it compare him with a player like Xavi Hernández, mentioning that his idol is Andrés Iniesta. "It does me very happy be compared to another big player like Xavi, when it did pair with Iniesta, the possession was total of the Barcelona and am happy to be compared with a so big player like him", commented.
His signing by the Barça
Arthur confessed during the interview that celebrated in style his agreement with the FC Barcelona to form part of the team in the future. "It was something thrilling. I celebrated it first with the family because it was a dream of all no only mine. The Barça was the club in which I always dreamed to play and concretise this dream was very gratificante", explained.
Also it commented the possibility to advance his signing by the Barça to the month of July, something that will not be his decision. "That is a question that no only depends on me, but also of the Guild, so they would have to seat the two clubs to decide it, but am safe that what decide, will be good for me", signalled.

Arthur commented what means for him can share team with players like Leo Messi, Luis Suárez or Coutinho. "Still I did not wake up me of the dream. They are exceptional players with which one always dreamed to know and play to his side, will be an incredible feeling and want to appreciate to all those that helped me to fulfil this dream. I am explaining the days to know them and play with them in the Barça", indicated.
The Brazilian, on the other hand, considers a versatile player and put in the hands of his future trainer the position that has to occupy.
