In the last hours, the planning of FC Barcelona has been hit. After the fall of the signing of Nico Williams, now it is added that probably the team could not count on all the capacity that was expected for the Joan Gamper Trophy, which will be played on August 10.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', some sources of the azulgrana team would already know that the forecast of having 60,000 fans for the mentioned match could not be fulfilled, but that the number of tickets would have to be reduced to 35,000. The number began to decrease after meetings with the firefighters of the city of Barcelona.
In this context, all this would be done with the intention of providing due security to the culé fans, for which it would now be considered more realistic to reduce to almost half the number of fans who will be able to enter the venue.
The Gamper, apparently, will be played against Como of Serie A, a team led by former azulgrana player Cesc Fàbregas, and which in the 2024/25 season finished in tenth position.

When does Barça play the first official match in the renovated Camp Nou?
