Barça managed to extend the stay permit at Montjuïc until the end of the season

Good news for FC Barcelona. According to reports from 'Mundo Deportivo', FC Barcelona and Barcelona Serveis Municipal (BSM) have signed a new agreement that will allow the Catalan team to use the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc until May 20. This is two days after the last home commitment of LaLiga EA Sports 24-25, scheduled against Villarreal CF (18/05).

It should be noted that FC Barcelona submitted a formal request in January to extend the stay permit in Montjuïc. This authorization was scheduled to expire on April 23, posing a dilemma for the team from the City of Counts.

If the Spotify Camp Nou is not ready by May, as budgeted, there was uncertainty about where the last home matches of the 2024-25 season would be played: against Real Madrid (11/05) and Villarreal CF (18/05).
