The 'culé' board will group all its communication platforms and channels through Barça Media 360, a hub to optimize the global 'azulgrana' connectivity

FC Barcelona continues to seek alternatives for innovation and optimization of new technologies. Recently, the club presented to all its employees the birth of Barça Media 360, a project that will group all the 'culé' communication channels and platforms to improve the transmission of content.

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the project consists of a hub to connect all audiences globally, revaluing Barça's content ecosystem, which already has platforms such as 'One' (the 'culé' 'Netflix').

How the Barça Media 360 system works

Barça Media 360 will be directed by Paloma Mikadze, who is also responsible for the Barça Identity Area. The fundamental objective is to transform the 'azulgrana' team "into a reference in the sports industry and a multi-format, multi-platform and multi-generational entertainment brand".

In that sense, it seeks to have a platform capable of integrating all of Barça's communication channels to position the club not only as a football team, but "as a global reference in content and entertainment".

Before the creation of this platform, each 'azulgrana' communication division was supervised by an internal department. Now, all the work of the 'azulgrana' communication channels with their members and fans (including the club's website and social networks) is integrated into Media 360.

In addition, the club appointed Jordi Nomdedeu, former head of futsal press, as the new press officer of the first team. Gabriel Martínez, meanwhile, remains as Director of Football Communication.

Barça Vision adds a new partner to enhance the use of AI

On the other hand, the board confirmed a strategic agreement between Barça Vision and Qloo, a company that will now be the new data provider through its Taste AI™ technology.

Qloo leads the global market in artificial intelligence (AI) "focused on predicting consumer tastes and preferences". With this alliance, Barça seeks to expand its global brand, consolidating the 'azulgrana' digital community.

At the moment, the club has the "largest professional sports" Discord server, which allows 'culé' fans to interact in real time 24/7. This alliance, together with the creation of Barça Media 360, enhance the institutional commitment to technological vanguard and the opening of new business avenues.
