Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona has already started to show off the agreement reached with the Democratic Republic of the Congo signed on June 30, which is based on the fact that the training clothing will bear a slogan alluding to the Central African nation for the next four seasons (until 2028/29).

In this sense, the Blaugrana team incorporated the slogan "RD Congo - Cœur de l'Afrique" on the back of their shirt, as a sign of their institutional commitment and collaboration with the DRC.

It is also worth remembering that the African country will also become the new Global Partner of the Catalan institution, under the label of "Partner for empowerment in sport and culture".

Profitable alliance: Barça will receive a millionaire sum for its agreement with the DRC

In this context, Barça will receive a total of 44 million euros as part of the agreement with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, distributed in 11 million for each of the four seasons contemplated by the alliance, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'.

It is worth remembering that AS Monaco and AC Milan also signed sponsorship agreements with the DRC, but neither revealed the figures for their alliances.

It should be noted that the cultural component occupies a central place in the agreement between the Blaugrana team and the DRC. As part of this collaboration, the Espai Barça will incorporate the 'Casa de la RDC' into the new facilities of the Spotify Camp Nou, an immersive exhibition designed to welcome stadium visitors and offer an experience that reflects the cultural richness of the African country.

The Barça-DRC agreement, key to moving towards the 1:1 rule

In its financial strengthening strategy, Barça continues to explore new alliances that allow it to generate additional income. This search responds to the need to improve its situation in terms of financial 'fair play' and be under the 1:1 rule, conditioned in part by the requirement to balance the accounts with external resources.

Therefore, this new economic injection is vital for the club, considering the fact that it still has to generate margin to carry out the pending registrations of players such as Gerard Martín, Roony Bardghji or Wojciech Szczęsny.

In this way, Barcelona seeks to reach the total stabilization of its finances to be able to operate normally in the next transfer markets. Although, if this is achieved in the current transfer window, it remains to be seen whether the club will not make other moves.
