FC Barcelona will officially launch its second kit for the 2025/26 season this Tuesday, July 29, 27 days after the debut of the home shirt for the next season. Initially, the team was expected to wear this uniform on Sunday in the first friendly of the Asian tour, against Vissel Kobe.
However, the club preferred to wait for the shirt to go on sale before making it available to the squad. During the broadcast of the match in Japan, however, there were some problems distinguishing the contrast between both teams, as Vissel also used their home shirt, which is maroon.
Beyond that, Barça also used their home kit, which was also premiered on Sunday, as until now the team led by Hansi Flick had only used the training kit during the week and a half of training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
How much will the second Barça shirt cost?
From this Tuesday, the second official shirt for the 25/26 season will be available in the Barça Store in Barcelona, the online store of FC Barcelona on its website and all distributors authorized by Nike in the world for the following prices:

The home kit has sold very well during the month of July, with record figures thanks to Lamine Yamal's new number. After the release of the new '10' culé, the Mataró native sold more than 70,000 shirts in the first 24 hours.
Similar figures are expected for the alternative shirt, as it is a garment highly appreciated by collectors. The shirt is part of the so-called 'Mamba Collection' in honor of basketball legend Kobe Bryant.
Therefore, Nike replaces the traditional 'swoosh' with the 'Seath' logo that identifies the 'Black Mamba', as the deceased American player was known. In addition, the shirt combines the colors of what was his lifelong team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
The shirt will be ochre (pale gold) in color, with purple and black details on the collar and sleeves. The sponsors and the Barcelona crest are in black, with some dark gray details in the case of the blaugrana logo.
The last time the club chose a golden tone as the base for its alternative shirt was in 22/23. That shirt, however, was little used, as Barça used the senyera version with three horizontal red stripes on the chest and the third kit, gray with the cross of Sant Jordi in blaugrana on the front, a lot that season.
That year, the tone was much stronger, tending to a sandy color. In 2025, the tone will be lighter, tending to a soft beige. Along with the shirt, the Barcelona 'Mamba' collection includes a 'lifestyle' line with sportswear and sneakers for women and men.
The date on which Barça will debut its second shirt for the 25/26 season
Finally, Barça could debut its new shirt on the field next Thursday, July 31, in the friendly against FC Seoul in the capital of South Korea. The club will travel to this nation on Tuesday and take to the Seoul World Cup Stadium to play from 20:00 local time (13:00 CEST) against Kim Gi-dong's team.
