FC Barcelona is committed to effectively accelerating the works at the Spotify Camp Nou. In fact, he would be forging a key agreement in this task
The FC Barcelona is committed to effectively accelerating the construction at the Spotify Camp Nou. In fact, they are reportedly finalizing a key agreement in this endeavor.
However, from the club's management, they are beginning to see with greater certainty the return to the iconic Camp Nou stadium, which, if no unforeseen events arise along the way, should materialize by May.
The enthusiasm is undeniable from both the Barcelona institution and the fans of the Catalan team at the prospect of witnessing Barcelona again in their stadium after nearly two years of absence, and what better occasion than in a match against Real Madrid. A classic that, besides its inherent attraction, could potentially involve the LaLiga EA Sports title at stake, a highly probable scenario.
The agreement that Barcelona is close to finalizing to expedite the works at the Camp Nou
The commitment of FC Barcelona to return to the Spotify Camp Nou as soon as possible is so steadfast that, in addition to carrying out constant renovations to refurbish the stadium, they are eager to expedite the execution of the works. In fact, as reported by 'Mundo Deportivo', the club maintains a close communication with the Barcelona City Council to reach a crucial agreement that will accelerate the pace of the works.
As mentioned in 'MD', FC Barcelona and the City Council, with the approval of the residents of Les Corts, are on the verge of closing a deal that would facilitate the execution of the works at the Spotify Camp Nou. This agreement would allow workers to perform their tasks 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing the construction company Limak with just over three months to work intensively and ensure that the legendary home of Barça is ready by the expected date.
The Barcelona team has previously reached significant agreements on this matter
Last month, after several meetings between the City Council, the club, and the residents' associations of Les Corts, which had partially halted the works due to noise issues, it was agreed that Barcelona could work 24 hours, but only from Monday to Friday in the area adjacent to Gol Nord (near the cemetery). On the other hand, outside that area, the working hours were limited until midnight.
In the other areas (Travessera de Les Corts, Maternitat, and Aristides Maillol), the hours were restricted from eight in the morning to eight in the evening from Monday to Friday, but extended until midnight inside the stadium for painting and wiring tasks that did not involve the use of cranes or create excessive noise.
Conditions regarding the finalization of this agreement
It is important to note that this new regulation, which includes working 24 hours a day seven days a week, also requires that the tasks to be carried out have a reduced noise impact, such as painting or adjustments within the stadium. However, activities involving crane movements will continue to be restricted.
