Carles Pérez shoots against Barça for his departure to Rome

Carles Pérez aimed high in the FC Barcelona​ by the good feelings that gave in his debut with the first team but, few months after this, announced his surprising traspaso to the Rome. The Catalan, that had had prominence with Ernesto Valverde, went one of the players that was sold by the club with the aim to square the balances before the closing of the current economic exercise.

In an interview with the journalist David of the Heras in his channel of Youtube, the Catalan extreme recognised to feel hurt with the FC Barcelona by how treated him during his exit. "It was a bit hard. I happened it quite bad with my family home. It did not understand it. It hurt me rather by how I have carried me with them during so many years", explained the canterano.

The forward had several offers before to leave the club. "After the year in Second To had offers of other clubs like the Benfica and others, but at the end decided to remain me another year in Second B with García Pepper to try arrive to the first team. And the following year the same, had offers, but always said that no, the same that when it was in the inferior categories. As it happens now, they arrive teams like Chelsea paying a lot of paste. I never was me, preferred to remain me here", affirmed.

For Carles Pérez, the error of the Barça was not deep down, but by the forms. "It hurt me more by this. At the end I have achieved my dream, have been with these players, have been able to mark, but hurts you that they treat you like this after what have done you by them. It is what hurt me. I can understand that the club or the míster chose this decision by the needs that went", explained.

In general, it wanted to appreciate all what lived in the Barcelona club, but considers that the entity could have carried better with him. "I am appreciated to the Barça, because all what learnt there have done me arrive to the Rome, when I began did not know what know now. But it hurts me a bit the behaviour that had to my", sentenced.

The Barça needed the money of his traspaso

One of the main reasons of the sale of Carles Pérez to the Rome was the financial need of a FC Barcelona that needs to square his balances before the ending of the present economic exercise. The club culé needs immediate liquidity and thus it bet by sales like the ones of the Catalan, Abel Ruiz or Jean-Clair Todibo.
