With the transfer market now closed, the club presented the official list sent to UEFA for the Champions League, thus clearing up the unknowns about which number each player will wear on their jersey.
Lamine Yamal Inherits Barça's Legendary Number '10'
The big news is the change of number for Lamine Yamal. The forward from Mataró abandons the '19' to wear the legendary '10', a number reserved for club legends like Messi, Ronaldinho, or Rivaldo.
His rise confirms the weight he has gained in Hansi Flick's project. Lamine will thus wear a historic number on his back, owned until last season by Ansu Fati, on loan to Monaco.
