Barça unveils its 4th kit for 25/26: a tribute to Ronaldinho and the 0-3 at the Bernabéu

FC Barcelona has officially launched its fourth kit for the 2025/26 season. The kit will be used as an alternative to the home kit for home or away matches in any of the four official competitions (League, Champions League, Cup, and Super Cup), with a design commemorating the 0-3 victory at the Bernabéu in the 2005/06 season.

The club decided to launch the jersey on the very day that marks the 20th anniversary (November 19, 2005) of Barça's historic exhibition against Real Madrid. The goals from Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho (a brace) sealed the beginning of the end for the 'galácticos' team assembled by Florentino Pérez, who would resign from the white presidency in March 2006.

Barça's fourth jersey for 25/26 features vertical blue and garnet stripes, but with a deconstructed design that emulates the trajectory of the ball in the three goals scored by the Blaugrana team in the first Clásico of the 05/06 season.

On the inside of the neck appear the minutes in which Eto'o's goals (14') and Ronaldinho's goals (58' and 77') were scored, while there are also some light blue details on the front.

The sponsors and numbers remain yellow, while the shorts will be burgundy with a blue stripe on the sides. This is a tribute to the 05/06 kit, the first season in the club's history in which burgundy shorts were used in the home kit (the others being 10/11 and 15/16). 

Barça chose **Rashford**, **Bardghji**, **Balde**, and **Marc Bernal** along with **Aitana**, **Alexia**, and **Ona Batlle** for the promotional video of the jersey, which has the slogan 'Football is art'. The entire collection of the culé's fourth kit for 25/26 is now available for sale in all club stores and Nike stores, as well as on the blaugrana online store

When will Barça's new jersey premiere?

Although the club did not reveal details about the date the men's first team will debut the new jersey, various rumors point to the 2026 Spanish Super Cup as the tournament chosen for its debut

Barça will face Athletic on Tuesday, January 7 in the first semifinal, probably using their fourth kit for the first time in 25/26. If they defeat the Basques, the kit would be kept for a hypothetical final against Real Madrid or Atlético, who will play the other semifinal on January 8.

The final is scheduled for Sunday the 11th at the Alinma Stadium, King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. Barça is defending the title won in the last edition and the tournament could feature a Clásico in its decisive stage for the fourth consecutive season. In 2023 and 2025, the victory was for the Blaugrana (1-3 and 2-5). In 2024, there was a 'Merengue' victory (4-1)
