Gerard Hammered was this Thursday 16 August in Orlando to assist to the votes of the International Federation of Tennis (ITF) on the project presented by Kosmos, the company that chairs the Barcelona defence, consistent in changing the format of the Glass Davis by a world-wide tournament more attractive.

Finally, the proposal remained accepted, reason by which Gerard Hammered felt tremendously satisfied by the decision taken: "Today it is a historical day and are convinced that the agreement ratified today by the nations certainly guarantees the future of the Glass Davis and the development of the tennis to all the levels".

The central of the FC Barcelona considered that the new Davis is a step forward: "it Is the beginning of a new stage that guarantees the preeminent and legitimate place that the Glass Davis has to have like competition by national teams, adapting to the demands to the maximum level of this professional sport to the highest level".

Gerard Hammered also showed proud to having been able to form part of the historical decision like the taken: "it Is a big honour form part of this historical process of a sport that is mad about me and, definitely, so much in personal terms like professionals, east is one of the happiest days of my life".
