"I know the requirement that supposes to come to the Barça and have win"

A bit shy, introvertido, but very honest and direct. Ernesto Valverde was presented this Thursday like new trainer of the FC Barcelona and the Basque technician wanted to command a message of illusion to the fans: "we will try to keep the winning cycle of the last years, will put everything of our part to attain it", affirmed.

In the first place it wanted to appreciate to the men that have made possible his signing: "I Am inmensamente appreciated to the directive for having deposited his confidence in me. I will try to do bigger still to a club like the Barça. Sure that the challenge will be exciting".

Asked after which can be the greater difficulty to direct to the Barça, Valverde answered: "Try that the external conflicts affect little to the team, that centre us in the football. This will do us better and stronger".

"I do not know if I will be able to help too much to Leo Messi, is almost perfect"

They are not many the trainers that have been able to train to Leo Messi, and obviously the "Txingurri" has showed his absolute happiness for that: "Train to Messi is a challenge for me. It is a luck for me train to the best player that have seen never in a terrain of game. I will try to help it to improve, if it is that it can in something, and enjoy to the maximum of his football".

Although it proceeds of a historical club like the Athletic, "the club of my life", as it confessed, Valverde understands that the requirement here will be greater: "I Know that the requirement of my charge is maximum. Strolling by the museum one darse of what is this club. My predecessors have been to an incredible height. From Pep to Cruyff going through Luis Enrique. I think in them and I understand that it will ask me everything. And I accept it", it commented.

The idea of game will not change a lot: "My idea is to deepen even more in the style that carries years impregnating this team and that it is recognised all over the world. I want to help to the players creating a spirit of team that promote us until the highest. Be together in the good moments and in the bad. Try generate emotions in the fans. And logically achieve results"

Iniesta, that still has not renewed, keeps on being important for Valverde: "I Think that it is a key player in the club, in the changing room. I will speak with him to know which is his idea of future".

Finally, it has admitted that will trust the quarry: "Always I have had affinity with the young players and of the filial. They need to feel important, but will not give any place to anybody. It is necessary to win it".

Robert Fernández values his knowledges 

"When they analyse to the trainers, the experience always is a degree, but especially have fixed us in the knowledges. There are trainers that do not have a big path but yes understand a lot of. Ernesto is a near person and that knows the competition", explained Robert Fernández, sportive director of the Barcelona club.

Besides, it has confessed that hardly it has been able to speak still with Valverde on signings: "it Finish to land and have not had time to chat on this subject, but obviously will do it how much before".
