As it has analysed the economist and university professor José María Gay of Liébana in an article for "The Avant-garde", unlike what says the European Commission, the FC Barcelona "has not done at all illegal and will not have to give back at all". For Gay of Liébana the valid legislation during those years protects the performance of the entity blaugrana.

"The valid fiscal legislation during those years protects to the Barça by what will not have to give back at all. It does not treat of a help but, to the tributar like sportive club, governs by a taxation of 25% in front of 30% that applies them to the anonymous societies", confirmed the economist contradicting to the report of the European Commission.

"The Commission does not understand that especially Barça and Real Madrid tributen less when in reality yes that make yielding professional activities", affirmed Liébana, that predicted the disappearance of the clubs that are owners of his fans and his transformation in Anonymous Societies. "It treats of the first step so that all the teams turn into SAD and compete in equality of conditions", concluded.

In the last days, to FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and five clubs of Spain more (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Athletic of Bilbao, Osasuna, Elche and Hercules), had fallen them a sanction of the European Union by which will have to give back to the State the respective helps and subventions that received by part of the public organisms, when understanding the EU that this comports a "disloyal competition" regarding the other clubs.

The European Commission has approved the sanctions to these seven Spanish clubs when considering that they benefited " unfairly in front of others" owing to the state helps, and has issued a communiqué from Brussels in which it has left clear that "Spain has to recover the amounts of the illegal state helps of the seven beneficiarios, to know: FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Athletic of Bilbao, Osasuna, Elche and Hercules".
