Jordi Alba gets 'wet' with his new role at Barça: "I play less, but..."
In a recent interview granted to 'Mundo Deportivo', Jordi Alba has spoken about the few minutes he is having at FC Barcelona this season
It is not a secret for anybody that Jordi Alba has happened to have a much more secondary role in the FC Barcelona in this season. The arrival of Marcos Alonso and the exponential growth of Alejandro Balde, caused that in the beginning of season the Barcelona captain saw very few minutes, although in these last weeks has won importance in the plans of Xavi Hernández.
The player has taken his situation of positive way and took advantage of the minutes that played for 'reinvindicarse' and win importance. It finish the first stretch of the course playing almost 'fixed' in the left side after Xavi bet by Alejandro Balde in the right band.
Alba did sufficient merits so that Luis Enrique summoned it for the World-wide, that will be the third that contest. Recently it offered an interview in 'Sportive World' and spoke on his particular situation in the Barça: "This season am playing less in the Barcelona, but when I am doing it am feeling me very comfortable".
On his announcement, aimed that it does not have to reinvindicarse: "To claim at all. It is clear that it is an important call for any player. More for me, that carry a lot of years in the selection", adding that "this call of Luis comes me phenomenal to be still in this line and try help to all the mates. To which have played less World-wide or to what have not contested any. I seat me with strengths and many win".
Challenge to personal level
Questioned by which is his aim in this World-wide, cleared that only it is thinking in helping to the selection. What expects is "to win it, as any one that go to the selection. It is an important challenge for us, have a big team, although it will be difficult because there is big selections. To individual level, the same aim that to collective level, win the World-wide".
