Kluivert, with the 'Cruyffism': "We are here to protect Cruyff's philosophy"

Patrick Kluivert converted this summer in the new director of the formative football of the FC Barcelona​. The Dutch discovered in an interview to the magazine 'Barça' the reasons that carried him to accept the charge. "I know the house, was like player six years here and have very good 'feeling' with the club and the fans. Besides, my son plays here. Have the feeling that I can contribute a lot of things to the Masia and no had to it to me think a lot to the hour to accept the offer of the club", ensured.

The ex forward of Barça, Ajax or Valencia, among others, recognised that his idea is that in the quarry respect the philosophy that marked Cruyff in his day. "When the players go changing of stage and of team is important that follow with the same philosophy of game. Has to respect the philosophy of Cruyff, the values of the club and we are here to protect all this. Have one of the best schools of football and, therefore, have to go all on the same line with the trainers and players", commented.

The aim of Kluivert is that the Masia contribute footballers to the first team, although it explains that the players have to understand that for this suceda have to work a lot. "It is essential that the youngsters think that no only for being in the Barça is all done. It is very important to work strong, pursue his dream, compete and learn of the trainers. The talent is very important but is not it everything, but it has to work each day and demand the maximum. And if all goes well, will arrive the opportunity to play in the first team. This is our work", signalled.

Carles Pérez and Ansu Fati are the best examples that this work, sometimes, has his réditos. "It is very important that can go out players like them. If a player shows his quality, as Ansu Fati and Carles Pérez, by very young that are, is well that have minutes with the first team and that they can show that they cost", recognised the Dutch.

The Ajax, possible nursery of the Masia

The ex goleador also left clear that the Ajax is one of the teams that more than near follows the Barça for fichar footballers. The 'ajacied' have a style of game very similar to the culé and this is basic for Kluivert. "The Ajax has the same style of game that the Barça and, therefore, are attentive to these talents", said.

Finally, the Dutch spoke of his compatriot Frenkie of Jong and of the simple that results for him adapt to the philosophy of the Barça when coming of the Ajax.
