Paul Pogba and 'Kun' Agüero analyzed Lamine Yamal's mentality. Both agree that the Barça 'crack' possesses a football intelligence far superior to the rest

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Lamine Yamal doesn't stop reaping praise in the world of football. In addition to his innate talent, Paul Pogba was surprised by the IQ (intellectual quotient) of the FC Barcelona winger on the field, when talking about the style of play of the Barça youth player.

"What impresses me most about him is that he has a football IQ above his age. He always does what he has to do. Doing that at his age is crazy. He is cold on the field, he is nailing it," argued the French midfielder, who this season will return to action after almost two years out due to suspension.

Lamine Yamal, an always associative player in Barça and the National Team

Paul could accompany Ansu Fati at AS Monaco, as long as the player from Bisáu formally closes his loan signing. Returning to the praise for Lamine, the French international also acknowledged that the youth player "always plays for the team."

An aspect not very common in forwards of Lamine's age (17), who usually abuse individual play. In 24/25, the '19' of Barcelona led LaLiga in assists, with 13. Together with Raphinha, he was the team's leader in goal passes in all competitions (23).

In this regard, the former Barça forward, Sergio Agüero, also applauded Yamal's attitude on the field. "He doesn't care if he scores more or fewer goals. He gives many assists and is always a player who creates chances," commented the Argentine.

The 'Kun' and Pogba talked about the Catalan star on the podcast of the now streamer and businessman. For both, Lamine is a 'genius' for "resisting the temptation to be more individual," exploiting his technical conditions.

Lamine reaps praise and friends during his vacations

Meanwhile, the future '10' of Barça continues to make the most of his vacations. After a week in Brazil where he enjoyed with his idol Neymar, the player from Mataró shared in Ibiza with the Spanish singer Bad Gyal and the Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna in an exclusive concert.

The 17-year-old winger still has a couple more weeks to rest before returning to work with Barcelona. He will do so precisely on the day he turns the age of majority, next June 13. Afterwards, the official signing of his new contract will take place, along with the presentation of the number he will wear from the pre-season.
