Joan Laporta addressed the flurry of rumors about the registration of Joan García and Marcus Rashford for the imminent start of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26, scheduled for this Saturday at 7:30 PM at Son Moix, where the Azulgranas will face RCD Mallorca.

The club's president, in his appearance during the Trobada de Penyes Barcelonistes de les Illes Balears, held in Maria de la Salut, sent an encouraging message about the situation of the Catalan goalkeeper and the British striker: "If Flick wants, Joan García and Rashford can play tomorrow". He made it clear that, although their names do not yet appear as registered on the LaLiga website, the club has already completed all the necessary procedures for both to participate against the Vermellones.

But Jan didn't just talk about registrations. He also took the opportunity to praise the Azulgrana coach, Hansi Flick, and his way of managing the club's sports project: "He is managing it masterfully. It is a formula that works and can last a long time."

In turn, he boasted about the current state of the Azulgrana squad: "Those who have not yet digested that Barça has resurfaced and is once again a reference in the world of football, and who make us have to fight against everything and everyone, I tell them to be calm. This is long-term, there is a lot of rope and a lot of fuse. Many years of success," he concluded.
