Lewandowski turns 37 reaching a new record with Barça

In football there are players who are destined to break records and leave as legends of each club they have been a part of. Such is the case of Robert Lewandowski, who did it at Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and could also do it at FC Barcelona.

And the Polish 'killer', who just turned 37, achieved a new feat in his sports career. On this occasion, 'Lewy' entered the history of the Blaugrana team.

With 101 goals in 147 games, the striker became the fifth player who has needed the fewest games to surpass the barrier of 100 goals in all official club competitions. 

Only four legends surpass him in efficiency in beating the nets: Mariano Martín (99 games), Ladislao Kubala (103), Luis Suárez Miramontes (120) and Evaristo de Macedo (143).

2025/26 Season, Lewandowski's last at Barça

In this sense, in principle, Lewandowski faces the 2025/26 season as his last in the Blaugrana team. The Pole declined offers from Saudi football to stay in the elite with the Catalan team.

In addition to this, he is convinced by the club's sports project, with the 2024/25 season being the one in which he won the most titles: League, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.

It is worth remembering that Robert Lewandowski is the player with the best salary in the Barça squad. The center forward earns in the order of 26 million euros gross.
