The Spotify Camp Nou is beginning to show a more promising face regarding the return of FC Barcelona's first team to play the last month of the season at Les Corts. The works are progressing at the expected pace, and this Friday, various users and Catalan media shared images of the clearing work being done by the workers, a key step to start the installation of the new grass of the culé temple.

Until a week ago, the playing field was still filled with materials and machinery, but this Friday significant progress is evident in clearing the area, as well as in the raising of the third tier. The structure of what will be the third level of the Estadi already has several of its main supports, while the lower stands are increasingly being equipped with more installed seats.

Barça is confident in finishing its stay in Montjuïc in April

Similarly, the interior of Camp Nou is taking shape regarding access routes and locker room areas. Outside, cranes continue to operate full-time to finish installing the new facade of the blue and burgundy stronghold, work that must be completed next summer along with the raising of the third tier. The installation of the roof, as we previously mentioned in FCBN, will be completed by 2026, once the next season concludes.

However, the absolute priority of the club and the construction company Limak is to prepare the Estadi so that Barça can play the last two or three matches of the 24-25 season there. Barça has already resolved the rental of Montjuïc until the end of the season, but the idea is to be able to play the last La Liga Clásico and some hypothetical Champions 'semis' with the Estadi ready to welcome 65,000 spectators. In addition to Real Madrid, Hansi Flick's team must face Villarreal in the penultimate round of La Liga. If the deadlines are met, the team would bid farewell to Lluís Companys on matchday 33, against Mallorca.
