The FC Barcelona will soon face a crucial commitment in its aspirations to maintain the lead in LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25. In matchday 25, they will take on UD Las Palmas, a rival who, despite being close to the relegation zone, does not present an easy challenge, as Diego Martínez's side have already defeated the Blaugrana this season 2024-25, with a narrow 1-2 victory at Montjuïc.
One of the novelties for this clash against the 'Pío-Pío' is the itinerary that the Blaugrana team will follow on their trip to Gran Canaria for the match against UD Las Palmas. In the first place, there has been a change in the sequence of events regarding the training session of the Catalan team and the pre-match press conference with Hansi Flick.
Why did FC Barcelona make this change in their travel itinerary to Gran Canaria?
It is usual for the team to train before the press conference. However, on this occasion, the German coach appeared at 13:30 hours and then the training session took place. This change aimed to allow that once the fieldwork was completed, the Blaugrana expedition could depart directly from the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to the Barcelona-El Prat Airport, where they took off around 17:40 heading to Gran Canaria.
Considering that the flight lasts approximately three and a half hours, it is estimated that the Blaugrana expedition will land in Gran Canaria around 21:10 (20:10 local time). Once at Gran Canaria Airport, it is planned that the team will move to Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, which will serve as accommodation for the team both this Friday night and on the day of the match.
